Our 2021 Spay/Neuter Matching Gift Campaign is underway!

Despite the challenges we have faced over the last year, the Southside SPCA has not wavered in its determination to end the tragic euthanasia of healthy Southside Virginia animals.

Your past support for the spay/neuter program has been a significant factor in reaching our goal of at least 2,000 spay/neuters in each of the last three years, and in our progress toward eventually eliminating needless euthanasia.  With your help, we have spayed and neutered over 15,000 animals during the last eight years. This has resulted in  fewer surrendered and abandoned animals and historically low euthanasia rates at the county animal control facilities in our service area.

These are accomplishments of which we can all be proud, but unfortunately, our work is far from done. Too many animals continue to be euthanized and abandoned and surrendered. To help sustain the progress made thus far, we are sharing exciting news about our 2021 Spay/Neuter Matching Gift Campaign.

Three anonymous donors have agreed to match, dollar-for-dollar, all donations totaling up to $30,000 made from July 15 August 15!

Also, once we reach $30,000, The Jessica Beath Foundation has agreed to an additional dollar-for-dollar match on donations totaling between $30,000 and $40,000.

This means that $40,000 in donations will be turned into $80,000!

Please double your impact by helping us raise every dollar of the match.

You can donate by the August 15th deadline by clicking this link now:  DONATE HERE

By indicating that your donation is for the “spay and neuter program”, you will ensure that it will count toward the match.

Thank you for supporting this vital program.  Together, we are saving and improving the lives of thousands of homeless animals in Southside Virginia.
