We hope that you will join us at our shelter in Meherrin for our Spring Open House on Sunday, April 28, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM! Everyone at the shelter is excited to once again welcome our friends and supporters to our doors, and this year’s Open House promises to be a ton of fun!
Our annual Open House is always a special time for visitors to tour our facilities, meet our furry residents, and greet fellow supporters. Our event will feature food, live music, vendors, games, and fun raffle prizes. You can also check out our great SPCA merchandise and t-shirts.
This year, we are excited to again welcome Sweet Redds Food Truck. Sweet Redds will be serving up their delicious BBQ, loaded nachos, dirty dawgs, and state fair mini donuts.
You can also enter to win great raffle items with drawings at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. Our first drawing will be at 1:00 for the “Grand Prize” where the winner selects ANY raffle prize they want! The great items in our raffle include awesome baskets for both dogs and cats as well as humans and lots of gift cards.
Be sure to bring the kids for plenty of fun and carnival games, popcorn, face-painting, and cool furry tattoos. Leashed and well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome as well. So come on out on April 28! We look forward to seeing you there, and as always, we appreciate your support!
