Our Spay and Neuter Matching Gift Campaign was a Huge Success!

A big THANK YOU to the hundreds of supporters whose donations helped to raise every dollar of the $70,000 in matching gifts and to the Jessica Beath Foundation and the five anonymous supporters who contributed the match!  Your support for the campaign shows that you recognize the critical role the spay/neuter program plays in reducing euthanasia of healthy animals and improving the lives of companion animals in Southside Virginia.

With the money raised during the campaign, we now have the funds needed to keep the spay/neuter program going strong into next year as we continue our efforts to drive down the euthanasia rates at Southside Virginia’s county animal control facilities.  The 1,440 animals spayed or neutered during the first six months of this year indicates that we will need every dollar of the money raised during the campaign!
