The Southside SPCA is fortunate to have many loyal volunteers and supporters who support our mission. One such supporter is Farmville’s Green Front Furniture. Green Front Furniture prides themselves on being a pet-friendly establishment where you and your four-legged companions can shop for all your furniture needs. Imagine how overwhelmed we were when we learned that Green Front’s president, Den Cralle, announced that his company would donate new furniture to make our shelter more practical, functional, and beautiful!
Although we knew they would be delivering some new furniture for our employee break room and lobby, we were blown away when the delivery truck showed up packed to the gills. We couldn’t believe our eyes! As the movers unloaded couches and tables and chairs, we were left speechless by this act of generosity. Not only were we able to make some much-needed upgrades, but we were also able to beautify our Hound Lounge, where our residents hang out in a home-type setting to decompress. Our adoption cottage and lobby also received new furniture. Green Front didn’t stop there, however!
After seeing the new additions in their respective places, the coordinator decided we needed more to bring everything together and returned later the same day with some finishing touches: a rug, a painting, and a matching side table, just to name a few. But wait, there’s more! On top of all that, Green Front Furniture has signed on to be the title sponsor for our Southside SPCA Annual Holiday Gala and 12th Annual Donation Drive this December. Our hearts and our shelter are full, and we cannot thank Green Front Furniture enough for all of their generosity and support!
