Celebrate Spring with Southside SPCA!

We hope that you will join us at our shelter in Meherrin for our Spring Open House on Saturday, April 30, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM!  After a long break due to COVID-19, we are excited to be able to invite the public to our shelter’s open house once again.  And this year, we have chosen the beautiful month of April to welcome our friends and supporters!

Our annual open house is always a special time for visitors to tour our facilities, meet our furry residents, and greet fellow supporters.  Our Open House will feature food, live music, vendors, games, and fun raffle prizes.  You can also check out our great SPCA merchandise and t-shirts.  We are excited that the BoJangles food truck will be offering their delicious food for purchase.

We will have over 45 great raffle items with drawings at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00.  Our first drawing will be at 1:00 for the “Grand Prize” where the winner selects ANY raffle prize they want!  The great items in our raffle include awesome baskets for both dogs and cats as well as humans, rain barrels, garden sculptures, and lots of gift cards.

Be sure to bring the kids for plenty of fun and carnival games, popcorn, face-painting, and cool furry tattoos.  Leashed and well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome as well.  So come on out on April 30!  We look forward to seeing you there, and as always, we appreciate your support!
