• Fostering is a temporary commitment.
• Southside SPCA retains ownership of the foster dog.
• I will provide a safe, loving environment and follow all care instructions.
• I will not transfer ownership of the foster dog under any circumstances.
• I will immediately notify Southside SPCA of any medical or behavioral concerns.

By signing this form, I understand that Southside SPCA has no knowledge of the foster dog’s personality or behavior in a home setting. Southside SPCA is not liable for any actions of the dog while in foster. Should any medical needs arise, the foster is responsible for contacting a designated Southside SPCA staff member to arrange an appointment at Village Vet Services in Amelia, VA. The foster will be responsible for transporting.
