After a long and difficult year, we are looking forward to celebrating the Holiday Season with our supporters at our 9th Annual Holiday Donation Drive! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6 for two amazing days of fun and festivities! We are preparing for a socially-distanced and crowd-controlled event in order to protect our supporters and volunteers. Face masks will be required.
On Saturday, December 5, we will be at Haley Auto Mall in Farmville from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our special guests include Miss Virginia, Dot Kelly, and national shelter supporter Shorty Rossi and his rescue dog, Ares. Farmville’s WVHL 92.9 FM Kickin Country will be broadcasting live!
Then, on Sunday, we will be at Farmville’s Holiday Inn Express from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Expect a jam-packed day full of fun and holiday excitement! Our friend, Shorty Rossi will be back to talk with our supporters about his work. Also, veterinarian, Dr. Sabra Lucas, will be presenting, and you can meet and talk with WTVR Channel 6 news anchor, Julie Bragg.
Once again, we will have great raffles along with an awesome silent auction. Santa will be making a special stop from his busy schedule to take free pet photo’s with your furbabies courtesy of Prettiest Things Photography.
