This year’s Open House at our main shelter in Meherrin was full of fun, food, furry friends, and fellowship!
Thanks to so many of our loyal supporters, our annual fall event on November 1 was a terrific success, despite having been rescheduled once due to weather and yet another damp forecast! A great time was had by all, and our residents sure enjoyed all of the visitors! We raised over $4,000 at the event, and best of all, 5 dogs and 2 cats were adopted! A special thanks goes to Board Member, Joyce Eggleston, for organizing this year’s event and also to all of the many volunteers who gave their time, energy, and donations to make it happen.
