THANKSGIVING NIGHT

As we gather around the table with family & friends counting our blessings, Lunenburg County’s Animal Control Officer, Ray Elliott, will be making a great sacrifice.
Ray will forgo his family time and spend Thanksgiving night at the animal control with the shelter dogs and cats. From 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, he will be locked in a dog kennel…no bed, no blanket, no food, no luxuries.

His goal:  to raise $12,000 ($1,000 per dog kennel) to help low income families in Lunenburg County with spay/neuter assistance through a partnership with Southside SPCA and local veterinarians.
Donations can be made on-line at www.southsidespca.org or P.O. Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954.  Specify ‘Ray’s Campaign’ with your gift.

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE
